Clown Teaching

I taught the first of series of clown workshops for the Princeton Office of Religious on November 9th in the University Chapel. I then performed a staged reading of I.M. LOST! later that night. I taught the second workshop of this series on April 7th, again in the chapel. 

The participants in these classes include people who are familiar with theatre as well as people who've never performed before. I start by giving them a brief overview of the academic/theoretical context for clown training. I then lead them in clown games that are playful and joyful, but also enable personal and emotional self-discovery. Within the couple of hours we have together, participants get an introduction to clown training and a glimpse of their unique clown persona.
